LevygaleyStudio

LevgyaleyStudio is a project launched by Sophie Levygaley in 2009 to teach art to people of all levels and all ages. LevygaleyStudio stands out among art classes as a workshop taught by an active painter in her own studio. Sophie's career has allowed her to engage with radically different communities throughout the world. From giving charity lessons in the Philippines to preparing students for world-class art studies, Sophie has developed a pioneering and robust teaching method. Using advanced creative development techniques, Sophie nurtures the creativity of experienced artists and complete novices alike.

Inspired by the Federal Arts Project of the early 20th century, LevygaleyStudio recognises the intrinsic value of art in encouraging creativity and self confidence. Art responds to a basic human necessity for self expression and stress management, empowering people to grow and to embrace a transfigured view of their daily lives and to find a common voice. LevygaleyStudio is a place where artists can safely experiment and flourish. It is a mutually beneficial dialogue between teacher and students, a deeply personal yet strongly collective  journey
